I bought a 5943 on a whim and I am LOVING these!!!

The DAO triggers are smoother than any of my revolvers (686, 49, SP101 and LCR).

I got a 6946 online at Gander Mountain for $300 OTD with a coupon. Listed at $279.00 before shipping and tax)

Looking good and that was a heck of a deal.
 
They are great guns! I have two 6906's; one of which is a Performance Center gun. Definitely one of S&W's better platforms.
 
Great scores....the 3rd gens are great handguns and I am always on the lookout for another one to add to my collection.

Just found a 4013 I will be buying as soon as I get the funds. Good luck on that CS9D. Those are pretty rare from what I understand. Those 3rd gens seems to multiply at the 1911 rate!
 
"accidentally" bought a 5946 today! just sold a pistol and the cash literally burned a hole in my pocket.

this is one of the "new" pistols they have at cabela's. date in the night sights is '14
 
I want one of those tactical 40's. The CHP pistols they just released.

That little 6946 would be a helluva back pocket pistol.

Got the new toy out to the range today for a few hundred rounds. No hiccups.

My only disappointment was that it was shooting high and left.

It was dead on when I swapped slide and barrel from my 5943 and the 5943 was high and left with the 5946 slide/barrel...

I guess the sight needs adjusting. I'll have to bring a drift to the range next trip and I'll need to adjust from sight picture 2 to sight picture 1.

I know what you mean. I bought an UNFIRED 3913 with laser sight last year for $800! Now I'm afraid to shoot it as I don't want to loose the UNFIRED cred. Go figure.

I'm a firm believer that guns were made to be shot!!! I took my 1 of 1660 1086 to the range right from the FFL! If I ever find a 1046 (only 151 made) I'll shoot it!

SHOOT THAT THING!

You're not going to sell it anyway.

You're right, but I haven't been able to bring myself to deflower this beauty. I've seriously thought of trading her for a German PPK. Disgusting, I know!
