3rd Primer manufacture is coming

I heard or read yesterday that there are only 2 manufactures in the US that make primers. Now there will be a third soon. Has anybody else heard this?

I dont think Vista has anything to do with Winchester Primers but I could be wrong

What happened to the overseas primer manufacturers? S&B for example. Heck, the pistol primers I got at the Raleigh show were some unknown Eastern Europe manufacturer. I'm sure all the domestic output is going straight to ammo companies which makes sense.

Palmetto state armory is starting ammo and components under the AAC brand. Not sure of a timeline though

Is anybody a member of Big Daddy Unlimited? A year and half ago, they were going to open their own ammo brand. they also sell guns and parts that are suppose to be at cost. Just wondering if they have anything in stock.

From what I recall, BPS bought Cabelas and dropped S&B as a vendor. Because Cabelas was the primary US customer, they stopped producing and importing them for this market.

They’re launching something related to it in February according to Jamin.
