Cool. Wow, a MK-19 with a belt of those could clear the sky pretty quick.

Now, waiting for an affordable 37mm civilian version. Or maybe someone can design one for the soda/beer can launcher.
 
This anti drone net has been out for a few years now.
 
I can’t imagine that a net from a 40mm launcher has the range of say a 10gauge goose gun.
 
I believe a downed drone can be examined by forensic team a lot easier then one that was blasted by shotgun pellets.

The net doesn't deploy until proximity to the drone.

Nifty. I stand corrected, fired from a mk19 the round will handily outreach a shotgun.

They claim a maximum effective range of 1600 meters.

I think that’s the range for most mk19 fired rounds, but I have a hard time thinking it can get close to that altitude. Any of you guys that have fired or worked on the mk19 recall how much elevation adjustment they have? Get extra from a vehicle mount.
