Any one have bay thoughts on these two platforms? Pros and Cons of either?

I am considering a change from my 43 to another option in the slimline model of Glock. I looked at a Sig 365 and being honest I don’t really want to switch to any other manufacturer right now, for the simple reason of interchangeability.

43x or 43x MOS either platform is good, if your are going to put an optic then 43xMOS is way to go,

As far as interchangeability, the 43x & 48 magazines are compatible, that's about it to my knowledge

If you give the Sig a look, go with the P365XL recoil management is slightly better over the 365

I was looking at the 365X in that line but I honestly didn’t want to switch manufacturers at this time.

365x has the optics mount and best of both worlds between the 365 and 365xl

do you perceive a big difference between the two manufactures, and obviously your preference matters....more curious as to reason

I have both; when I made the 43x my EDC I wanted a 2nd as the trainer and got the MOS thinking I was 'forward looking'. The MOS has a little rail on it which makes it incompatible with the g43 holsters I was using which is a bit of a bummer. I'm using a different holster for carry than I am for practice, but they're both AIWB and hold the gun in about the same spot so it's probably not a big deal. Probably.

If you have a lot of holsters you like and want to reuse, be sure to check them with the 43x MOS. if they're good, get the MOS. Future proof for the jump to optics and easier to resell down the line if you change your mind and jump platforms.

I've got the trijicon HDs on both guns, they don't hang off the back of the MOS version which is nice. On my G34 MOS those sights do hang off the back a bit. Doesn't really matter since it's a competition gun but would be annoying on a carry gun with the sight digging into things.

Mainly holsters to be honest and cost. The Sigs run a bit more over a blue label price.

@Jayne i have several 43 holsters I like and I really like the 43 still so I did need to make sure they fit. But, I bought a 43X MOS today before thinking about that and they don’t fit in all of them. I can adapt and overcome or trade it here for a regular one. I bought the MoS being forward thinking for down the road…way down the road and I don’t know if I will end up liking the Red dot stuff anytime down the road or even messing with it

I got rid of my 43X MOS and got a regular 43x and didn’t like it either. So I am hoping that I will be trading it for a 43. My education on the matter has been really eye opening. First off this was a gun for the wife as I lean heavily toward a 19 most times and a 43 when I really need some thing smaller/summer gun

So after shooting it a couple of times I have found that
The 48 is a slimmer 19
The 43x is slim 26 slide on a slim 19 frame
The 43 is a slim 26
While I can’t add shield 15 round mags to the 43 I CAN make the 43 small but I can not do that with the 43X. With the Z9 mags and other Plus mags the capacity can be increased. I personally use the Vickers plus 2 as my spare after @fieldgrade recommended them.
The wife liked the 26 but felt it was too blocky for her frame. The 19 grip is not easy for her to conceal thus the 43x was not good either because it is the same grip length. She shot my 43 and while she claimed it wasn’t pleasant to shoot it also wasn’t complete torture nor painful. She said she could and would carry a 43 if we get one. My personal thought is if I can carry and hide the grip on a 43x I will just carry a 19. So my 43x has been posted in the BST. Plus the 43 just shoots great to me. It’s not a fancy blaster but my wife and I both felt confident that we can operate it and hit what we need with it to protect our family and ourselves.

I'm in pretty much the same place with my 43x. It occupies a position between the 43 and the 26; but instead of that position being a "sweet spot", it's more like "no man's land". The 43 actually shoots a little better for me, but carries a lot better. The 26 carries about the same, but shoots better than any other Glock model I've tried.

I don't hate the 43x, it's a fine pistol. It just doesn't fit my needs as well as some of the others do.

You and I are in agreement on that. The 26 is a really sweet shooting gun. I don’t know why but my 43 shoots better than my 26. Of course I shoot an old Gen 3 19 the best of all of them. I like the 43X but I don’t have a need for it. IF I didn’t have a 43 or even a 26 I could see it having a place

Take into consideration that you'll likely want to change the sights and you'll need a good plate for an optic. That will run another $150+, an expense you don't need to fork out on the 365. Outside of that, if you want a 43x MOS, go for it.

I carry a 43X MOS daily. It is accurate, easy to shoot, and easy to carry. I run Shield 15 round mags and a Shield metal mag catch in it.
Same as the above poster. I daily carry a 43x mos with the shield mags and shield metal catch. Though if you do go this route(the shield mags/catch) I would also advise getting the metal shield base plates for the mags. I dropped a shield mag while full and a little plastic tab broke on the inside of the base plate, making the front of the plate flex out of place when fully loaded. I’ve never had a problem with the
Shield mags, as far as feed/malfunction issues, with about 500-600 rounds through them. I’ve yet to put a red dot on mine, but I plan to.

Honestly dude, I prefer the 43x. No pic rail, it's a subcompact- I'm not using optics on a sub 15 yard gun. I like the minimal look of it. Currently trying 365xl out and the grip is so much better

I tried the 43X and I just didn’t like it. If it works for you run with it! I personally carry my 43 because I shoot it better. If I go bigger I tote the 26 or 19.

I’ve gotten away from the G43 and started carrying a Hellcat. I like the trigger better and it’s the same size as the 43 with a 15 versus 6 magazine. Plus, I can run an optic with it.

I looked at many but picked the hellcat pro because of grip, sights, 15 rounds, slimness, crisp trigger. However I found recoil hard to manage in multiple rounds. Fixing problem by red dot, laser and practice.

Something to be said about the choices we all have for us to carry. I still go with my 43 more than I do anything else right now. That gun is the best or close to it shooting gun I own. The only one that can ever compare to it is my 19 Gen 2.

I have been carrying a G43x for a little under 2 years now with Shield Arms mags. It replaced my much loved S&W M&P Shield 1.0. The capacity and ergonomic improvements made a huge difference to me. I've thought about getting 43x MOS to try out the new micro optics, but haven't gotten around to it. I do wish my 43x had the light rail like its MOS brother. I haven't had any issues with factory or the Shield mags and have at least 1200 rounds through mine.

The new Shield Arms Z9 mags that up the G43s capacity to 9 might help without spending much more money in the meantime.
