Lower is Spartan from JoeBobs 130 shipped
Got out of the transfer fee by purchasing a Glock 44 at the same time.
Upper is Anderson XL
Bolt is from 22 mods
Barrel is 4” KAK with micro flash can also KAK
Lpk was Unbranded AR
So just to see how it runs I’m going to put in a heavy buffer spring and a 7 oz buffer that I run in my 9mm. As soon as I get ready I’ll go out back and test. My property runs at a pretty steep downhill and don’t feel like breaking something

As this was just a for sh@ts project I plan on upgrading some things. Really tried to be on a budget and have a range toy. Looking forward to seeing if it will run
 
Well she runs! 65 rounds no issues. Didn’t set up targets so no word on accuracy yet. But with the 7oz buffer it didn’t miss a beat. The heavier buffer like 8 and up I’m sure is the way to go @BigWaylon
Probably smooth it out recoilwise. I even ran two mags of the Tula from the Walmart fiasco.
One mag as a dump. No issues. And fun as hell. A hoot!

Not currently sadly. But sure to be my next foray. Kinda why I joined a place like this. Kept my head down for the most part and try to learn from the vast knowledge here. Don’t get me wrong I see plenty of unnecessary in fighting on here and few jerks. But most get banned and it feels like a community of like minded folks who have a lot in common. I’m definitely a kitchen table hobbyist builder. No smith by any means. And when the time comes hopefully I can rely on people such as yourself. My boys love to shoot and I do a lot to make sure theirs and after will have that option. Many options:)
 
That thing is soooo sweet!! I must resist I must resist....I see this and think I could search around and build one on the cheap but then I get anxious and just buy all the parts. I do not need another "toy" lol
