Sharing my friend's 5.45 adventure since Imgur is gonna start deleting old stuff.
Bullets were resized with a custom die from Lee, brass had to be shortened and necked down a bit, then fireformed. Since the taper is different, the fireforming needed to use a 5.56 mag so he used a cheap pmag with some hardware form lowes. The rim is slightly smaller so extraction might be weak depending on your AK. He doesn't remember the load unfortunately (this was from several years ago) but it did function in his AK74. It probably won't be great for primary ammo but it's a fun project for cheaper than current 70 cpr prices.
