5 Nanoseconds To Lights Out

As you can clearly see (or probably already know), nearly EVERYTHING you do at home (or away) is entirely 100% hinged on electricity and electronic technology to enable our very existence! We so take it for granted.

So what happens to the big cities if their power lines or sub stations get sabotaged when they decide to disarm us? Most of the Blue Army's commanders are downtown.

If I get what you're saying... The people that do that will be responsible for the deaths of thousands of people reliant on that power, especially life supporting medical devices, not just in hospitals, but in homes and nursing facilities. Then gas unavailabe for automobiles and trucks will prevent delivery of vital goods and people to get home or go to work, if there is work. It would be chaotic and people will die.

Emergency services have contingency plans to stay operational and they can pull resources from outside the affected areas. And they have alternate locations to set up operation centers. People will suffer and government will keep on going. Ref.- Katrina.

Read "One Second After" if you haven't.

If we have a national grid down situation, recovery, if any is estimated at 2-3yrs. Imagine if you can last that long. Attrition of the population after 1yr is estimated at 99%. Yes, only 1% will survive. Most are expected to die in the first 3 months.

And some of the 1% will look like this. And wonder what all the fuss is about.

My primary mission would be to stop the Blue Army in it's tracks & no gas would accomplish that very well.

They have gas you can't get to, even at "regular" stations. Then there's National Guard and the regular army and who knows who else they might call up.

I know where you're coming from, but you may be underthinking this a little bit.

This discussion is about a larger issue.

Just sayin'

We see how the US is when there's a cat 5 hurricane that shuts stuff down for a few weeks (longer in some places). If people knew they'd have to be without power/gas/potable water for months and months and months? Holy cow, there'd be blood in the streets.

That's one way to get rid of those rifles behind every blade of grass.

22 Magnum does a fair job on the squirrels so does my ole trusty speargun at closer ranges.
No real legal cure for bad drivers, you just can't fix stupid and if you try they'll just beat you to death with the stupid.

I really don't see anyone using an EMP b/c they would be thermo nuked out of existence.
That's if the initiator discloses or claims responsibility. If they don't declare themselves as the aggressor and it's launched from some unidentified barge off the coast that gets sunk immediately. Who do you lob nukes at? What if it's a third world instigator like Iran?

This has been discussed as a possible scenario. Much like it's taking time to prove Covid-19 came from China.

regarding the Amish picture reference above,
and considering One Second After.....

how about the book:
When The English Fall?
("english" is Amish slang for Not Amish)
