500magnum primers

What primers are y’all guys using my Lee book suggest Large rifle primers but not a specific one..I’ll be using Hodgdon lil gun and once fired star line/federal brass

Personally I believe I have Winchester. I think... I would expect any large rifle magnum would do well though.

I’m going too try and find some large magnum rifle primers..I’m new too reloading so I appreciate the help

Indeed, that's what I have. Good luck finding any anywhere though. Large rifle, especially magnum, seem to be the rarest these days. If you live anywhere near me (RDU area) let me know and I'll hand you a sleeve.

Ok might be up your way Apr1st if I can’t find any I’ll def let ya know I just have about 40-50rds too load at the moment

Win LRM is also what I use in my 460 loads. As I understand it, the magnum primers are needed to handle the 65k psi pressures of the cartridge.
