@BatteryOaksBilly and I were talking at the get together about Hot Rod's Drag Week, and talking about how far stuff has catapulted as far as HP and technology is concerned on drag racing engines. I was telling a buddy not long ago about my friends Outlaw 10.5 Mustang, that makes well over 3000 HP, and his buddy basically called me a liar. Never mind the track times and mph to back up said claim. Anyway, check out a couple videos of what this stuff has come to. Also, check out the rpm's on the 5235 hp pull.
Info on the Vette if you care to read it. https://www.dragzine.com/news/mind-blowing-video-andrew-alepas-corvette-cranks-out-5235-hp/

That little mustang coupe belongs to Ziff Hudson and she is nasty!! He has brought it out to my local track and run it N/T a few times.

I was just noting the other day, even in regular street vehicles, the C.I. displacement is small compared to the old days. I mean a Ford 5.4litre engine is only about 327 cubic inches. Remember 400ci+ engines?

I've seen Ziff run for awhile. He used to race at some of the series I shot photos for. He's had some nasty rides.

Doesn't surprise me at all. Although Im' still surprised there's street cars into the 6's.

Top fuel is 500ci and closing on 12,000 Hp, and over 9,000 lb ft. I think.
