If that is your chief metric, then yes, he has been great. I'd argue much better economy than Reagan; Reagan's economy was largely falsely inflated. I'd also say that for people who like decreasing regulation in administration, he has also been great. But for folks who value social change, etc., over those things, he's been a one-step-forward-two-steps-back kinda a CINC/POTUS.
I have become tepid of some of his defense policy, but my biggest issue is he just can't get out of his own way on Twitter, which is one of the biggest things that has made him so divisive.
I think an argument could be made that this is the most falsely inflated economy ever. What do you suppose would happen if the Fed stopped inflating their holdings and allowed for true market based interest rates?
Twitter is a marvelous tool to bypass the mainstream media that is solidly against him. It also allows him to keep his foes chasing their tails while he worries about more important things. He is divisive because so many people just want him to do as they want him to do and they hate that he does not fall into lock step with their far left policies.
Agreed. The media makes everything he does devisive, and everything good he does or truthful he says WILL be devisive because the country is divided. Duh.Twitter is a marvelous tool to bypass the mainstream media that is solidly against him. It also allows him to keep his foes chasing their tails while he worries about more important things. Twitter is toxic, definitely a problem.Twitter isn't the problem. It's what he does on Twitter. That he needs a media bypass is true.
replace 'twitter' with 'guns' and Ive heard that argument before.Twitter is toxic, definitely a problem.
Lol ok E.B. White, let me rephrase, the majority of Twitter users are toxic and definitely THE problem. I guess you could say you have heard the same things about gun owners too, but the people who said that are probably stupid.replace 'twitter' with 'guns' and Ive heard that argument before.
Reagan's economy was booming, but do you consider the national debt in with that? He tripled our national debt in his terms.

Why?
Best economy I can remember since Reagan.

If that’s his only problem then we really don’t have a problem. He needs a filter. It’s OK to be tough and make America great again and all that, but sometimes it’s better to say nothing then to just keep fanning the flames, Sometimes the bravado needs to be set aside any more subdued statesmen should be talking. And he has not learned that.
our senior politicians on both sides of the aisle have reverted to elementary grade behavior. Name calling and all that bull crap. They hold some of the highest political offices in the land and they should act like it. That’s all I’m saying. Yes we need a president like trump to drain the swamp but he doesn’t always have to be so abrasive about it. There are times when I feel like he just enjoys all of the negative attention he gets.

We do have a problem with all of the moderates who are put off by it, decide not to go to the polls and vote because they don’t wanna vote for him and they don’t want to vote for the other guy. That’s when it becomes a real problem. If that’s his only problem then we really don’t have a problem.

Agreed. As far as Trump goes, the main reason I voted for him is because he angers the Washington establishment, and the democrats, more than anyone I've ever seen before. And on that front, he hasn't disappointed at all. America's left has let the mask fall and they've shown their true colors these last 4 years. I only hope that the rest of America has been paying attention. I hoped that Trump could be the start of a much needed change in this country, but if the people don't act on it, we're only going to fall further into the hole that the left is digging for us.
We all know what Antifa wants. They want a revolution. They want to target and punish conservatives, gun owners, rural people, and people who hold onto American tradition. I think if you haven't started thinking about where your personal line in the sand is drawn, now is a good time to start. This might peter out in a few months, or it might continue to build and get more ugly.
Same. In terms of diplomacy skills, he is an absolute fool. He knows just how to say the wrong thing at the right time. I'll take him over the alternative, but sometimes I really wish he would just shut up.It's not just the work of the Left, either: he has made some bone-headed decisions and less-than-helpful tweets in the past 2, 3 weeks. I am voting for him because I can't stomach the alternative, but I do know a handful of 2016 Trump supporters who have said they are just not voting....
I believe this^^^ if they win it will be viewed as a mandate...If they lose..well you know..Wait, the riots will happen no matter who is elected
Biden is just the instrument the Dems are using to take the WH. He won't be Pres. At least not for very long.
Are you listening to what he says or are you hearing what his detractors say he meant?Same. In terms of diplomacy skills, he is an absolute fool. He knows just how to say the wrong thing at the right time. I'll take him over the alternative, but sometimes I really wish he would just shut up.
That is a fair question. I am referring to his tweets, which I follow. The man loves to run his mouth when he really shouldn't.Are you listening to what he says or are you hearing what his detractors say he meant?
Just asking because I don't twit and the only time i've seen one of his tweets was when someone was posting negative comments saying what he "meant".
it was stolen from them through gerrymandering, voter suppression, and interference from other nations. they must not recognize the outcome of the election and need to burn everything down to save the country.I believe this^^^ if they win it will be viewed as a mandate...If they lose..well you know..
...But my fear if Trump wins is, we only think we’ve seen unhinged on the left these past four years.
I can see it going full apocalypse.
Hope I’m wrong.
i especially like how the schools and colleges have said police aren't welcome to use their parking lots as staging/rally points.
I'd consider that a form of giving aid and comfort to the enemy, if you catch what i'm getting at.
But we do: if we have historically solid red Republicans who were very much Trump supporters now saying because of Trump's Twitter tirades they are backing off and thinking about not voting, that is a HUGE problem. For better or worse, Trump's extemporaneous comments and Twitter alienates not just the democrats (who would be alienated regardless of what he says), but supporters, too....
Not gonna lie, but it’s embarrassing that a bunch of liberal pan sexuals have outdone the 2A community protest at a level off the charts.
we need to get a bit more...energized next time around.

If they aren't privately run entities. They don't have a choice.
Another failed communist state where everyone is going to starve.
