6.9.20: Antifa Seizes Seattle PD, Sets Up 'Autonomous Zone' Just Like ISIS

Twitter is a marvelous tool to bypass the mainstream media that is solidly against him. It also allows him to keep his foes chasing their tails while he worries about more important things. He is divisive because so many people just want him to do as they want him to do and they hate that he does not fall into lock step with their far left policies.

If that is your chief metric, then yes, he has been great. I'd argue much better economy than Reagan; Reagan's economy was largely falsely inflated. I'd also say that for people who like decreasing regulation in administration, he has also been great. But for folks who value social change, etc., over those things, he's been a one-step-forward-two-steps-back kinda a CINC/POTUS.

I have become tepid of some of his defense policy, but my biggest issue is he just can't get out of his own way on Twitter, which is one of the biggest things that has made him so divisive.

I think an argument could be made that this is the most falsely inflated economy ever. What do you suppose would happen if the Fed stopped inflating their holdings and allowed for true market based interest rates?

I'd buy that. There are a lot of parallels to this economy and that of the 80s.

Twitter isn't the problem. It's what he does on Twitter. That he needs a media bypass is true.

Agreed. The media makes everything he does devisive, and everything good he does or truthful he says WILL be devisive because the country is divided. Duh.

Twitter is toxic, definitely a problem. :D
replace 'twitter' with 'guns' and Ive heard that argument before.

Reagan's economy was booming, but do you consider the national debt in with that? He tripled our national debt in his terms.

Lol ok E.B. White, let me rephrase, the majority of Twitter users are toxic and definitely THE problem. I guess you could say you have heard the same things about gun owners too, but the people who said that are probably stupid.:D

Correction. Reagan and Tip O’neill tripled the debt. Tip wanted union payoffs and social crap and Reagan wanted to destroy the Soviet Union. They pretty much both got what they wanted.

Why?
Best economy I can remember since Reagan.

He needs a filter. It’s OK to be tough and make America great again and all that, but sometimes it’s better to say nothing then to just keep fanning the flames, Sometimes the bravado needs to be set aside any more subdued statesmen should be talking. And he has not learned that.

our senior politicians on both sides of the aisle have reverted to elementary grade behavior. Name calling and all that bull crap. They hold some of the highest political offices in the land and they should act like it. That’s all I’m saying. Yes we need a president like trump to drain the swamp but he doesn’t always have to be so abrasive about it. There are times when I feel like he just enjoys all of the negative attention he gets.

Im just saying, we always hear about how 'evil' guns are etc, it's all in who uses it.

If that’s his only problem then we really don’t have a problem.

4D chess, he's baiting them etc etc etc
You know, you've heard it for years now

Ok so my thoughts are this. Antifa was formed in the 1930’s to combat Nazi views by the communists. It has its roots directly Linked to Stalin and communism. They have looted, plundered, pillaged and burned in the name of protesting. They advocate for killing cops, or at least attacking them. Some say it has been hinted at they canvas neighborhood etc to find where they live. Now BLM was formed in the 2010-2013 range, pardon me I don’t know the exact timeframe and they are advocating to remove Law Enforcement and defund them. They are encouraging citizen groups to be armed to take up that role. So, basically what today would be seen as a vigilante group. They have taken over Police stations in Minneapolis and Seattle. Set up their own Autonomous Zones. Those are facts. Now, how has the government responded? Well your answer is police chief’s bowing down and kneeling with them and washing the feet of leaders of protests. This is nothing more than an insurgency.

Now take a minute and follow with me please. Imagine if all the same things had occurred and it was White Lives Matter and The Nazi party rather than Antifa? How would the State and local Government react? For heavens sake the FBI too? Heck they killed a man’s wife in Idaho at Ruby Ridge because they thought he was Anti government. Would the State governors use tanks and the NG to quell the insurrection?

Folks this is about more than 4 Cops killing A black man that didn’t deserve to die. We all agree that George Floyd died needlessly but this is something deeper than that. This is rapidly becoming a revolution to change our former republic that has been years in the making. Stay safe my friends, each day is not guaranteed.

If that’s his only problem then we really don’t have a problem.

But we do: if we have historically solid red Republicans who were very much Trump supporters now saying because of Trump's Twitter tirades they are backing off and thinking about not voting, that is a HUGE problem. For better or worse, Trump's extemporaneous comments and Twitter alienates not just the democrats (who would be alienated regardless of what he says), but supporters, too....

We do have a problem with all of the moderates who are put off by it, decide not to go to the polls and vote because they don’t wanna vote for him and they don’t want to vote for the other guy. That’s when it becomes a real problem.

Can’t answer for snowflakes that are so easily offended but it is nice to have a president that takes it to situations that need to be addressed.

It takes harder people in harder times.

If Donald Trump walked out of the Oval Office wearing a lab coat with a test tube in his hand and proclaimed “THIS is the cure for cancer. I discovered it. Not teams working for me, some a company I incentivized...ME. I have a secret lab in the WH basement and this is how I used my free time while my doppelgänger played golf. I, Donald Trump, cures cancer for our species”

the press would be like “we’ll see that’s racist because whites are disproportionately affected by cancer, blah blah blah”

As far as Trump goes, the main reason I voted for him is because he angers the Washington establishment, and the democrats, more than anyone I've ever seen before. And on that front, he hasn't disappointed at all. America's left has let the mask fall and they've shown their true colors these last 4 years. I only hope that the rest of America has been paying attention. I hoped that Trump could be the start of a much needed change in this country, but if the people don't act on it, we're only going to fall further into the hole that the left is digging for us.

We all know what Antifa wants. They want a revolution. They want to target and punish conservatives, gun owners, rural people, and people who hold onto American tradition. I think if you haven't started thinking about where your personal line in the sand is drawn, now is a good time to start. This might peter out in a few months, or it might continue to build and get more ugly.

Agreed.

My concern if Biden is elected.... well, I don’t have to elaborate on that too much.
But my fear if Trump wins is, we only think we’ve seen unhinged on the left these past four years.

I can see it going full apocalypse.

Hope I’m wrong.

The wife asked me about our police going on strike. I had no answer other than she should be glad she married me. It did not go over that well as I thought it would...lol. I do think a 30 day national policing strike would send a message and then maybe we could get back on track. Naaaaahhhhh.....Commies gotta Commie....especially in an election year! I lost a couple layers of this crazy just this year!

I worry about both 2020 AND 2024...

1. Does Trump win? (If he doesn't, it's going to be bad...)
2. Does someone like him (who?) run and win in 2024? (If not, it's going to be bad...)

Trump is like a drogue chute. If the main doesn't pop at some point, all the drogue does is delay the inevitable...

If Biden wins I think rioting and looting and the Antifa communists will stop for a while. This will allow him to “save America” then pass and change laws to disarm the populace to allow it to be easier for the Antifa agenda to continue. Then it will get bad.

if Trump wins, the left will come unhinged even more and we will see one of three things occur 1) if he has a Senate majority then a useless impeachment again 2) rioting in the streets with mass violence all blamed on him 3) the left will try to remove him with all means possible

It's not just the work of the Left, either: he has made some bone-headed decisions and less-than-helpful tweets in the past 2, 3 weeks. I am voting for him because I can't stomach the alternative, but I do know a handful of 2016 Trump supporters who have said they are just not voting....
Same. In terms of diplomacy skills, he is an absolute fool. He knows just how to say the wrong thing at the right time. I'll take him over the alternative, but sometimes I really wish he would just shut up.

Are you listening to what he says or are you hearing what his detractors say he meant?

Just asking because I don't twit and the only time i've seen one of his tweets was when someone was posting negative comments saying what he "meant".

That is a fair question. I am referring to his tweets, which I follow. The man loves to run his mouth when he really shouldn't.

I believe this^^^ if they win it will be viewed as a mandate...If they lose..well you know..
it was stolen from them through gerrymandering, voter suppression, and interference from other nations. they must not recognize the outcome of the election and need to burn everything down to save the country.

Agree...

2016 will look like a church picnic in comparison.

i especially like how the schools and colleges have said police aren't welcome to use their parking lots as staging/rally points.
I'd consider that a form of giving aid and comfort to the enemy, if you catch what i'm getting at.

If they aren't privately run entities. They don't have a choice.

This actually strikes home for me a bit as well. I have appreciated much of the policies that he has pushed, been firmly against some, and neutral on a few. So over all I have been pleased with his admin. But his Twitter....sheesh...At first I was happy just assuming he was doing it to keep the haters frustrated, and it worked great. Those who hated him got to keep hating him as there was never any hope to change their minds. Those who love him would love him no matter what he tweeted out...a la the "who needs a bump stock anyway" types. But after 3.5 years of constantly facepalming it get tiring even for those that support him.

Come november, he will probably get my check mark. But not because of some deeply held belief that he is awesome, but because Biden is just that bad...In other words...the exact same situation as 2016.

Not gonna lie, but it’s embarrassing that a bunch of liberal pan sexuals have outdone the 2A community protest at a level off the charts.

we need to get a bit more...energized next time around.

It's easier to pull this off when there are no consequences to success or failure. We try it, lots of someones are going to die.

Frankly after reading up about it, Seattle is just getting the boogaloo they deserve, not the ones a good chunk of you wanted

He was voted in specifically because he is a brash, crass, ruthless, self absorbed businessman. We all decided to put him in power because the establishment HATES him. Hell the R party hated/hates him.

Let's not forget the R party had house, Senate and prez at one point and NOTHING got done.....

They hate him too. But realized their voter base put him there. So now the msm hammers constantly on about the R's being just like Trump. While they finally realized that their voters put him in office so they better at least pretend or they have no support.

Do I wish Trump would shit the hell up on twatter? Yes. But is he being exactly who I voted for? Yes.

I went for the egotistical businessman "non politician" because at least he can run a business and isn't the same old career wet dishrag of a politician we are always handed....

Even now just over half
the country is watching the results of putting him in office with mild humor. He hasn't tanked the country. It's actually doing pretty well.

All while making the other side of the aisle go FREAKING bonkers! Hunting up every single excuse that could prove he isn't one of them (clearly) and why that is somehow bad.....

Mark my words.... There will not be a clear-cut election this fall. The citizens of the country will make it close under perfect conditions. But if Trump loses by 1% it will sing into the heavens about his "righteous defeat". But if he wins by 1% even up to 10%. There will be an unimaginable storm of "wokeness" all across the airwaves and into the streets as people who can't see outside their own worldviews bubble refuse to believe/accept that the majority of the US of A don't think as they do

If they aren't privately run entities. They don't have a choice.
Seattle Public Schools superintendent Denise Juneau on Tuesday announced an effort to suspend the district’s partnership with the Seattle Police Department for one year, echoing the moves of several large school districts across the country.
...
The announcement came less than a day after the district learned the Police Department had been using the parking lots of three school buildings as staging areas for their response to protests. The district issued a swift condemnation Tuesday from its social media accounts, saying Juneau had taken action to halt the practice.

“These are spaces for student learning and supports, not for militarized responses,” read a post on the district’s official Facebook.

Another failed communist state where everyone is going to starve.

Organize a mass meat-lovers pizza delivery to the area? Better than tear gas.
