617 6in or 617 4in.........?

Got the itch for a da/sa 22lr revolver. Just a plinker fun toy for myself and the kids. Which one would be better choice?

And yes I know the proper answer is to get both.

The 4” is a better balance of weight for either you or your kids. A 6” may be too front heavy.

Are they able to pull the trigger in double action? My daughter struggled with my Taurus 992 Tracker 22 WMR/Magnum,22 LR trigger.

I opted for the 6". I prefer the heft since I own a 586 6" L-frame which l often shoot.

I've got that speed beez loader set.
I used it in rimfire steel matches.
Definitely a timesaver.

One sucky thing is if the case isn't fully loaded and it gets turned over in transport...you get to play a game. It was a PITA.
