    At least, I believe that's what this is. Three cans of it, 300 rounds a piece.

    Looks to be out of stock right now everywhere I looked, no idea how to value it.

    The cans are supposed to be vacuum sealed. Any help is appreciated!

    I’m not sure. That’s just the current price and says out of stock.

    Pre-covid prices for surplus 7.62x51 were generally in the .50-.55 cents per round, depending on the country of origin.
    @MacEntyre
    @cubrock
    These guys^ might verify or dispute that, I would defer to them as I don't have any Malaysian nor did I buy any in the past.

    Open a can, that would verify whether or not they are still sealed and have no corrosion. I believe in these days, sealed or not won't affect the price.

    The most expensive I've ever seen 7.62x51 was Lake City Match at $1 per round. Everything else was about half that, as OneofSix said.

    But I am not as plugged in as @cubrock... he sees more, he knows more, I'm jus' better lookin', but not by much.

    50 cents a round is what I am getting for foreign surplus right now. There hasn’t been much upward price pressure on 7.62 NATO at this point.

    Things may have changed since I last checked. I have seen it in stock at the shows. Some ammo dealers are up to $16 a box for Federal Lake City M80, but it isn't selling nearly as quickly as 5.56. I know as late as last week, I had a hard time getting $10 a box for foreign surplus.

    Yep, looking online, the national market definitely reflects more demand than we are seeing locally. Shout out to @JT.

    So you're saying I should upgrade my at the computer desk gun to an M1A and save my 5.56 for a rainy day?

    SGAmmo is pretty well stocked (only by comparison, of course). "CoVid markup" seems to be roughly 50% on a per round basis. It's a real dilemma; as Clay said, it's bad today, but it may be worse tomorrow. I can't quite (yet) convince myself to pull the trigger on an order. :(

    [Note: I'd rather order from Outdoor Limited or at least a more local dealer, but ...]
