You're gonna like it. I got the 6 cav brass last year, and a 6 cav aluminum the year before. The cast fast.

Dang it. How did I miss this?

Are these easy to load subsonic?

    You want 147gr for subs.
Loading lighter bullets at sub velocities is a recipe for short stroking.

Which I've never done, either. I'm fairly new to the subsonic 9mm game and so far have shot only 147 grain factory ammo. I've done some reading on it which indicated around 130 grains was the threshhold for subsonic loads cycling most actions. Was just curious how this plays out with these bullets.

Thanks, that is what I wanted to know.

I have been curious how polymer/powder coated cast bullets would do suppressed. Guess I'll be looking for 147 grain-class molds.

Of course, right now there have been a lot of great deals on subsonic factory ammo, so I've been stocking up on that as I can.

I mean, I have loaded subs with 124gr...around 1000fps but it would probably depend on the gun. Cycles a G43 just fine

Are you going to be coating these bullets? I'd be really interested in your range results when you have them. I imagine a mold like this could wind up in a group buy again.

I really need to go to castboolits.com more often. :(

Yep that is why this mold has no grooves and is .357 diameter. Probably will end up shoot them in .38 also with an FCD crimp

The group buy closed Thursday and you've already got a mold?????
It usually takes about a year to get something from Miha.

By the way this bullet at 135-138gr will give you the following...YMMV. This is my 10 shot average out of a G34
3.3gr of Titegroup will give you 944fps .
4.3gr of Power Pistol will give you 953fps.
3.8gr of Unique will give you 968fps.
3.3gr of Cleanshot will give you 958fps
    4.3gr of BE-86 will give you 1002fps
