Yes open to anyone. Show up and shoot with us. We're just getting started with the HP program. It died out years ago and I'm getting in rolling again.
We have working Pitts. So no walk and paste.
200 and 300 distance. 600 will be shot at 300 on the MR63 reduced target.
This only our 2nd match. Next match is in October. Come out and shoot. Bring some friends.

The Pits look great!!! Randy and his team have resurrected a Phoenix that is rolling!!!

This isn't really my discipline but the guys at the club are excited with the work they have put in to bring this back.

All @Randy S Randolph needs is good ole George Northam is show up and it couldn't get any better!

Shooters, I am monitoring the weather forecast for the match day. I'm still leaning forward and planning on having the match.
1. Hopefully the weather will be milder than forecast.
2. If the weather is more of a factor, we can back up a few yards and shoot under cover.
Five sighting shots will be given as it is a modified distance.
So, this being said, pack your rain gear and let's get it done.
Unless there is not enough shooters to support the event, or the weather is unmanageable, I want to shoot this match.
Remember this, we have working Pitts at Catawba Valley Rifle and Pistol Club. And plenty of time and effort have been done to get them in fine working condition!

I hope to build a base of shooters for next year's match calendar, coordinating with a couple of other clubs so we are able to shoot each other's matches.
