I got this used several years ago. It functions and shoots very well. Manufacturing date is June '77 so just about46 years old. Barrel and wood are in pretty good shape but the receiver is all patina an lost its luster. I tried to sell it at the last Dixie gun show in Raleigh but no takers.
So I figured time for a makeover. Spent several hours yesterday and today removing all the finish, pits and scratches. Got it down to a 400 grit finish today so ++tomorrow will work on the pins, trigger action rod. The trigger guard is aluminum so that will get cerakoted. With some luck , I may get it in the blueing tanks this week.
