Tyrants rarely have the courage to do it themselves, and the Tree doesn't water itself.
Look folks - Our Rights come not from the government or its laws, nor revered but fading sheets of parchment still on display as religious relics in the National Archives.
Our Rights come not from the mouths of petty tyrants or benevolent dictators, nor kings, nor senators - they are not born of the words of mortal men, but are the awesome gifts of Almighty God- inalienable from our humanity, and as such are beyond the just and moral authority of mere men and women to infringe.
That said, we each face a choice. You, me, our children - all must decide whether we stand as Free Men and Free Women or kneel as slaves. The choice is that serious, and the is of that level of importance.
The State, with its bloated sense of worth that comes from these arrogant, self-serving politicians and the degenerate, encrusted banditti that surround them demands supplication and obedience. Failure to kneel is met with men and women with guns, empowered by the State to violate your Rights under the color of law - which most will do without question and then claim their actions are the paradigm of virtue.
So let this pass or not pass. Let them repeal the Second Amendment.
My Right to Life and to Protect that Life through Arms remains - as does yours - because they predate governments of men.
I say light up the phones, send emails, write a real damned letter. Do what we must to prevent its passage. But if in the end, the State serves itself instead of the People, we ignore its decrees. For without our willing consent and our willingness to be disarmed, they cannot truly force us to do jack sh*t - we must be persuaded and convinced.
Unfortunately, if it comes to that, honorable men and women will be forced to make good on terrible Oaths.
