I bought this gun for my boy the day he was born, 4 inch S&W Model 28, like new. Stopped on the way to the hospital with my ex wife to trade a Ruger Redhawk for this gun. It got new Altamont shoes today. I only shoot this gun with him, it never comes out of the safe without him. This gun is his. 7 years old and shooting an N frame. Still has to use both pointer fingers to double action it, and my hands to support his, but hes in heaven.20200404_171034.jpg

He is in heaven? Dammit man you are the one in heaven. Good job.

Damn. Would you like to adopt another son? Great way to raise a kid. I think the coolest part of the story might be stopping on the way to the hospital to trade guns! That might be the best gun purchase story I've ever heard.

I gotta say that's much cooler than me stopping at the post office to mail the power bill on the way to the hospital.

Lucky for me when both of mine were born, I was out of town and sister in law and monster in law got to handle all of the panic problems. Picked up a 6 pack for the road and headed to the hospital. I knew I needed to be sort of medicated to deal with that crowd when I arrived and I was right.

This is great, I love seeing stuff like this! Good job dad!
