A friendly six point

My 11 year old granddaughter was pretty taken with this six point that walked up in the yard. He really likes homemade apple chips.

This was on top of Beech mountain. I think he may have been accustomed to humans
We tried with a doe and her two fawns. She dug the apples but would not get closer than 4-5 feet

Om the trails around Cades Cove, theyll act much the same. Follow you up the trail, lookin for you to give them some trail mix. Ive had a couple let me pet them on the trail.
Same thing hiking up to Spence Field. I made that trip weekly while working for TVA and we had one that would eat lunch in the field with us. She wouldnt get closer than about six feet, but lay out a pile of trail mix and she'd snack next to us while we ate.
