He's a hero in a very large group of other hero children. The strongest of men among us cannot brave the challenges of this young man and many other boys and girls that face the same fate. God bless them all.

Somebody get the onions out of here now. They are both heroes as well as all the other ones that have been through this. May we all love and hug everyone near and dear to us a little longer today. And remember to pray for all the ones that are suffering.

I saw that earlier and breaks my heart.

This is my nephew with my dying MIL, his grandmom. If you could bottle and sell his attitude, you’d be a billionaire. I took this picture when he went with me to feed her at lunch last year before she passed. He had a brain tumor when he was born. No use of his left leg or arm now. Used to throw up like that kid in the pic, but he was a baby.

These two were thick as thieves before she lost her mind.

He talks like Andy Griffith. “HOW YOU DOIN?!”
God bless him. He’s a bright light in a dim world.

Excuse me for a moment, I must have left a window open because there's some dust flying around the room, some got in my eye...

I have never seen a child in any cancer treatment area that I have been in, Thank God. It is hard enough to see elderly people in them.

I know one personally. She is a teenager now but she almost didn't see her 1st birthday. Pediatrician caught it a week before her birthday and they began aggressive treatment. If not for that she would be a memory.

When I took 45 straight radiation treatments I met folks while waiting in the lobby that died during my 45 days. Touching, sobering, aching soul searching. Thank God Almighty I didn't see any children. Those precious things that hold this country's future in their hands. This has always been a briar in my cap as to why this has to happen. Still a mystery to me.

Because bad things happen to good people. Like you I wish it wasn't true but it is.

While getting Chemo on day and elderly lady beside me told the Doctor and Nurse to just send her back to the rest home and let her die. She was through with the treatments. This lady was around 85. She just was giving up. She was crying and could hardly talk. I felt so sorry for her. I am so thankful I never saw a child or young person. I have been to 3 cancer centers and have cut it down to 2.
