A little forgotten beauty

I deployed to Iraq in December of 2007-March of 2009 and had my stuff sent back to my parents house. While looking through some stuff in the attic today I found my knights armament vertical foregrip! I had completely forgotten about it! It might not mean anything to some rando but it brought back memories when I picked this thing up…still got the sand from the desert built into it.

Looking good! Memories Indeed brother👊🏼 God bless 🙏🏼 I had totally forgotten about it, you remember those cheap plastic lock boxes they gave us to put in the conex containers? That’s where I found mine lol along with a acu sleeping bag cover

I do...although I didnt get one of those on that particular trip.
My unit (3/4 ADAR, 108th ADA) augmented the 42nd MP Brigade helping out their 31Es at Camp Bucca. 42nd's and 108th ADA's deployment budgets at the time were such thst they got us those really nice, sturdy, thick walled green lockboxes.
I got those cheap black ones on later trips but they barely survive the trip over and back. My green one is still kicking 14 years later

Was also in Iraq in ‘07-08 and I did have my old KAC VFG for awhile too but I took a saw to it and made it a stubby years back. Not sure what I ever did with it now.
