Adding feedback.

I’m attempting to add feedback using this link:

And it’s saying the URL isn’t valid when I go to hit submit. Am I doing something wrong?

I was told you had to add the www. In it, but it never worked for me either. But it does says optional next to the link so I leave it blank

I guess that's not happening on what you use... so what is it? Let's get @amnesia in on this.

Are you trying to copy/paste the URL? Or letting it autopopulate?

Is there a mechanism for providing "feedback" for a deal/sale between two members that was initiated through a post on a forum not part of the BST boards? I tried leaving the (positive) feedback citing the thread which started the conversation, but that was not accepted by the software as the thread was not part of the BST-list.

PS belatedly realized that this wasn't a generic "feedback" thread. I can delete/move if need be. Hickjacking wasn't the intention.

In case you missed me ask it above...did you copy/paste into the URL field? Or use the auto populate method?

What is this method you speak of? on my mobile i click add feedback, and the form is blank. on a desktop it had the modified deal url prefilled in the field.

On a mobile copy/paste is the only option... or did I miss a button?

I copy and paste from it, I see the “find thread” button and might use that next time.

For those on mobile, try this.

- go to the BST
- open any thread
- turn your phone sideways
- you should now see an Add Feedback button below the user info
- click it, and see if you have a URL populated

Nope. No button, no link under username. (Galaxy S7/Firefox)

click add feedback link under username, YES it populates.
Wife is looking at me funny for holding my computer sideways tho.
