I guessed maybe I clicked something and shut off a feature. Some classifieds have a small price bar above ad but no way to reply to ad. Some dont have the small bar and look "normal" and one can post in the thread.

Maybe someone can enlighten me?

New feature of the forum. All communications must be done by PM. Only the OP can make a post in their ads and only after 24 hours have past.

A change was made last week, if you wish to contact the seller you have to do so thru PMs.
 

BST Changes - Posting in ads & 24 hr Bump

Starting today you'll see a couple changes in the BST area. 1. Only the Original Poster (OP) is allowed to post replies to an ad. 2. 24hr bump rule is enforced automatically. 3. Price is required. If your ad includes specific trades, you can leave the price at $0 We'll get the actual 'rules'...

I was told that there were too many comments made in the posts that weren't pertinent to the ad and totally were against the site rules so that is why all suffer from the few MANY that chose not to follow forum rules

Nobody is suffering. I assure you. What's to suffer from. Having to click one more button to ask a question?

You and I have very different definitions of the word few.
 
My complaint about this is that @cjcullom started this thread less than an hour and a half from Friday and no shenanigans ensued.
 
Is there a manual somewhere that lays out the rules of the playground? I searched everywhere and can’t find info on what new members have to do to be able to pm sellers. Just wondering how to get people to take my money for their stuff.

This went off the rails a bit. The number isn't posted. But it'll kinda give you some insight

STILL having problems and cannot send Private Messages! Can somebody please HELP ME!

I can't send Sellers Private Msgs. If you need to talk to me or verify that I am NOT A SCAMMER, please call me. , If you need my address, Company name, moms maiden name or SS# give me call. I have played by the rules but this is ridiculous. Do I need to pay some kind of fee to be moved to the...
