Agree, I was surprised how good it was. Sad though, for sure.

Jeez man, my wife is sick in bed with covid and I'm sitting here alone watching it like what the hells the matter with me. Never been a Ricky Gervais fan, but he crushed it. If you've ever lost somebody, it's hard to imagine this show not getting to you. Thanks for the recommendation.... and the dog was awesome! Made me miss my German Shepard too.

Have you seen the show "Derek" - another Gervais show, hilarious but can also be very sad.
