Do a little search and there are a few threads are on this.

I love my Diana 34. Somehow, Numrich still has them on sale for $200
 
Diana 48 here. Sidecocker so no bent bbls or droop. Air rifles are like 22's in that they are ammo sensitive. Have had excellent results with RWS Meisterkugeln. Took me a year to find these pellets in stock and I have been waiting 18 mos on a 22 caliber Diana 48 to be in stock and still no luck.

In addition, I'll add that in addition to pellet sensitivity, springer air rifles tend to be hold sensitive too. Firm/light pressure on the stock, balance point, grip pressure, etc., all seem to play in role in shooting these rifles to their potential.
