OCD-40 (1963)
The first single piece made for the AK series is the Under-Barrel grenade launcher.
It uses a specially designed munition with a diameter of 43 mm, so when fired at the right angle, it can pierce an armor 50 mm thick. Initially, a gas system was planned that fired using the rifle's gas, but the idea was not accepted. He designed the Colt XM148 in the U.S. at the same time, and they probably didn't know anything about each other, but they were made with a similar logic.
The project was cancelled in 1970 because it performed poorly during tests.
