Went to ENC today with these two bishes:

@digitalpaladin10 installed a KNS Adjustable Piston for me last winter (15 clicks to open position without a suppressor) I wanted to get piston adjusted to lower recoil and gas with ULT3o can. Edit:
While adjusting the piston I ended up with a single click from the fully closed position.

Has anybody had this experience? Recoil was significantly reduced but there was still some gas to the face

I also wanted to get an idea of what groups I could get with these at 25 yards (where I zero'ed) most rounds with within an inch with the M92 (CMC trigger). At 100 without magnification group was int 5-6 inches. I have a Primary arms 2.5 Reflex scope with ACSS 7.62 x 39 reticle.

The Galil Pistol was pretty good, I like the left side charging and really like the safety, only bitch point would be the trigger, reset is meh, trigger is looooong. The hundred yard group was not good, the cheap chinese magnifier is offset vertically and I think it is messing with the sight picture, I just ordered a Primary Arms Gen III 300aac/7.62 x 39 ACSS 1-6 x 24 with aero ultralight mount.

I followed the KNS instructions (from memory), added 10 clicks toward open position to original 15 clicks. The issue is I can set the piston to fully open and it still cycles fine but it is ejecting the cases between 1 and 2 0clock. I went back the other way towards closed position at the range yesterday because there was deficiency in my understanding how the piston works.

Maybe some of you guys that are way more knowledgeable than I can gimme some advice? \
Should I contact KNS or is this a relatively frequent occurrence?
Should I just not worry about it and shoot the damn thing and carry on?

TIA

I contacted KNS last night, here is reply:
Thank you for reaching out to us. This is the response directly from our Engineering Staff:

The M92’s are among the most overgassed guns there are out there. The gas system is also particularly susceptible to backpressure effects (which is why the guns really don’t like suppressors with the factory piston) so I am not surprised that the addition of a can could push the gas flow slightly beyond the range of the regulator’s adjustment. For this specific application, the adjustment resolves into something more like a binary switch, with a mostly or fully closed setting for the unsuppressed usage, and mostly or full open for the suppressed use case.

K'Den will run it fully open with can and 15 clicks without can.
