Edit first image is the wire folder , second image on blue background is what appears to be the exact same stock with a flat mounting piece of some sort (circled in red ) I do not have that piece or the screws - only the stock

What needs to be changed on the back of a “standard” AK from PSA or a flat back MAK90 ?
Does this mate up to a special rear reunion ?

My daughter picked this up from some online shop- supposed to be Romanian?
Thanks for any help

If you want a cheek riser for it these guys have them. Awful website, decent product.

Romanians don't have the piece you circled. It should fit most standard stamped receivers but will likely require some work to fit a Mak.
Take the stock to Home Depot or Lowes and match the correct machine screw. I did the exact same thing with a Polish model I found. Screws might need to be trimmed.

Uh, also, probably don't mess with the MAK. As in modify the stock, don't modify the MAK. These things are not cheap these days and only going up.

Thanks for the help / the AKs I mentioned are ones my daughter shooters - this stock is hers and she wants to install it.
Her PSA has a trunnion made for an AR type stock- next step is finding a “standard” type trunnion for her PSA

You don't replace trunnions on an AK without removing rivets.

Look at this picture. If the rifle you want to install it on looks like the stamped one on the right it should slide right in.

I would imagine her rifle with the AR stock has one of these adapters

It should come right off after removing some screws.

This is absolutely correct. I have access to a press and feel confident I’m going to do this

What does the trunnion you are removing look like? If you botch it, the receiver is ruined and it's game over.

That's not a trunnion, that's an adapter like I posted above. Take off the castle nut, unscrew the tube and you should have access to remove the AR stock adapter by unscrewing a couple screws. Then all you have to do is slide the folding stock in the back of the receiver.

This is a rear trunnion, and if it looks like this under the AR stock adapter thete's no need to touch rivets.

@BrettB I'm not sure if you're PSA will have the puzzle peice tab. My GF3 was removable and I'm not sure what configurations came with it or not. But follow the advice below to see if it has it or not

If yours doesn't have it, here's the link
