Akai Goshoot USPSA

Surprised to see this few people signed up for a Tilley match. As much as USPSA shooters like to follow trends, I figured there would be 100 on the waitlist!

Sorta strange. Nothing else in state this weekend I can think of.

Not much notice though. I found it in the NC Section group on FB, I think it appeared yesterday.
 
The matches there seem to be put together well. Chris and his partner (really sorry I can't remember his name right now) seem to have a good understanding of what makes a great match. They use props well without it feeling like carnival stages. I wish I could shoot this weekend, but have other commitments. Weather also may be playing a factor in lack of interest as it's supposed to rain on Saturday, not to mention all week before and some of the areas don't hold up well to that much water.

He got his match sign up kind of late. Many shooters had already signed up at Pitt County Wildlife Club. This is a great match, and with only a few people signed up, it is gonna be quick. Insane not to get in on this if you are near. Chris's match has a different flavor to the other USPSA matches in the area.

To be fair, there's so few shooters that you could shoot this whole match in a couple of hours tops.

I keep having flashbacks to last week as this gets closer, and now I've been moved to starting on the classifier.

Ask to shoot first, shoot it like any other stage, and shoot as fast as you can see.......all while van halen plays "Eruption" in your mind.

Yeah, with the current numbers there's gonna be 2, and for whatever reason the small ones got merged to S1 instead of S3, ain't gonna fight it.

Shooting it first will make it exactly like last week. Getting thru without crushing my pinky in the magwell will make it less so. I have never been able to treat them like any other stage, could be the lack of Van Halen ;)
 
Heads up everybody...Tilley said on Facbook that he's starting this match at noon tomorrow.
