With Micheal Keeton? That liberal anti gunner? Americans don't need guns! But it's ok to make a shoot um up kill everything movie to further his career. I'll pass. I might be nutz and it may be a good movie, but I'm not putting a dime into someone's pocket who hates the things that I support. Some things you just can't do without but movies, that's easy for me.
Keaton is a Democrat. He endorsed President Barack Obama for re-election in 2012[38] and Senator Bernie Sanders for the Democratic nomination in 2016. Michael Keaton, who stars in the picture, has donated exclusively to Democrats, including Obama, 2004 Democratic presidential nominee John Kerry and Montana Sen. Jon Tester.
Sorry to hijack your thread JR! I may read the book though.
Yes, the first in the series. I'm queuing up the second book today. This is the Vince Flynn book, right?
I've already read it. I've read all of Vince Flynns books. I hate he died!
Yeah, I got hooked on Flynn a long time ago and his characters and writing style are great. Hard to put down his novels once you start.I've already read it. I've read all of Vince Flynns books. I hate he died!
Look at it like this. If an actor or whatever uses their money to promote a view that goes against what you believe in, then why would you give them your money to support it? Especially if like this movie, he's for gun control but doesn't mind making a shoot em up movie. That's a hypocrite. I vote with my wallet, besides, Keeton is a hack actor. If you guys are gonna boycott movies and entertainment based on the actors' political leanings, you're gonna soon be looking for entertainment from a cardboard box.
I get it. BUt like others have mentioned, there are ways to watch it without putting money directly into their wallet. They got paid long before anyone spends a dime at a movie theater or buys a DVD.Look at it like this. I realize that hey get paid before the movie comes out but, it's STILL money from people like US! Hollywood is killing this nation! It's transforming it into a bunch of zombies with no morals, no ambition and no consequences! If we don't turn the money tap off , we're doomed! It's probably already too late. I just don't support them. They have make fun of conservatives, religion, they pull our youth into crime, drugs, sex, and no morality! They produce " Celebrities " that you wouldn't want in your house or around your family in real life because of the way the live and act. I'm not giving them one thin dime! Like I've said before, something's you can't do without and companies that I don't like make them. OK, I'll bite the bullet, but, movies and TV shows, that's an easy thing to do without. I'd rather play games with friends and family, sit in front of a good campfire, or anything other than contribute to the continued downfall of the rest of my country.I get it. You're right. And for the record, I rarely go to the movies. I could blame it on having little kids, but it's really a disinterest in movies that think they have to be over the top crude/vulgar to be funny and/or entertaining.I realize that hey get paid before the movie comes out but, it's STILL money from people like US! I'd rather we not advocate committing crimes on this thread.I get it. BUt like others have mentioned, there are ways to watch it without putting money directly into their wallet. They got paid long before anyone spends a dime at a movie theater or buys a DVD.
Some isn't, some is.Streaming isn't a crime.
Whatever you say, There are no piracy laws here. That FBI warning on the DVD's is fake. This is the USA, not the UK.
