AMT hardballer 5 inch project.

I got this AMT hardballer a few months back and have put 70 hours into it so far. Polishing the slide, frame, frame trails Barrel and throat. Redone the slide and frame to many times. The slide is finally all even and on the final Polishing steps. I'll post a few before pictures and some of the progress so far.

these are the first day when I got it.


This was the first time I touched it to polish somewhere in the middle of it.

After all the hours into it it feels like a 900 dollar 1911 or more now. Racking the slide back its like glass with no lube on the rails. And it does run much more reliably after the rails barrel and throat where polished.
