In uniform, at an American military institution. From distant memory, reminds me of The Citadel.

The tweet I read was a forward to DJT to alert Mattis. Thoughts?

Anybody know the actual institution or "soldier/cadet"?
 
Sadly, it looks authentic. Here is the twitter page/source. Apropos his choice of avatar being Shitstain Sherman. Here's also a link to an article at Medium, under his nom de plume Spenser Rapone.

ETA: In that article, he claims to be current Infantry Officer and graduate of West Point.

He needs a haircut. He also needs more than the National Defense and Humanitarian medals I see.

Anybody else recognize the other two medals? I was going to guess Rifle and Pistol medals, but the ribbons don't look right.

The Army uses a badge with clasps for rifle/pistol quals instead of ribbons/medals. Of course, ROTC could use medals, but I don't think so. The images are a little too blurry (or maybe its just my eyes lol) when enlarged on my phone for me to really make out what the others are. Maybe @11B CIB can help make them out.

1. There are rules against altering your military uniform in just such a way.
2. There are rules against making ANY political speech while in uniform.

Take the Uniform off and have at it on his own time. I'll support, and even fight for, his right to do so. But I'll condemn him till the day I die for doing it in uniform.

The only thing I'll add is I'll fight for his right to say it without gov reprisal.

I will not fight citizens who wish to show their displeasure at what he says and stands for.

This ass is so proud of wearing a shirt with Che Guevara picture....Che Guevara was an international terrorist and a mass murderer. Che Guevara trained the Castro regime’s firing squads that executed thousands of men, women and children.
 
He is wearing Air Assault and a parachutist badge...not that unusual for a senior or even a junior year cadet. What grabs my attention is above the basic parachutist badge...can't be sure because I cannot enlarge the photo without making it blur even more, but that looks like a CIB...if that is the case, he is clearly prior enlisted and then attended the school to earn his commission....also means he served in either AFG or Iraq at some point, but I cant make out all the ribbons that would tell me that.

He can exercise his freedom of speech all he wants...bring him within arms reach and I will exercise some freedom of movement.
 
I scrolled thru his twitter history back across several years. Was pretty disgusting. Fawning over pics of Guevara and Castro and Lenin. Strong affinity for Marx and Sherman and (gasp! surprise!) Honest Abe. Long-time fan of pro rasslin', and Pittsburgh hockey.

Shouts out a lot to another twitter-person with "Rapone" in handle...makes me think it's his real name.

Definitely a CIB along with AA and Parachutists Badges. I see an Afghanistan Campaign, a Good Cookie, a NCOPD ribbon and an overseas service ribbon; clearly prior enlisted with a recent officers commission. Can't tell but the highest appears to be an ARCOM
 
What a POS. He won't last long now that it's all out in public. Hopefully they pull his commission and send him a full bill for the USMA tuition.

I like to think that this is the case of a Specialist who is so committed to trolling the Army that he got accepted to West Point and commissioned just so he could completely mess with the brass. I don't know who denied your DA-31 to go to Vegas with "the boys" in 2011, Spenser, but goddamnit I respect your course of action and absolute commitment to sticking it to the man.
