Anderson kiger

Interesting design with the cut out leading to the magazine release. That was one of the things I didn’t like about the Gen 3s.
 
While always happy to see new guns come to market, I see this one being a tough sell at $400. If I want a Glock but not a Glock, I don't see Anderson building a better gun than PSA. For less than that you can get a Dagger with optics cuts, upgraded sights and suppressor ready. Plus, if you put the package together right, they'll throw in a free AR lower. I do like that Anderson went with the traditional Glock style trigger vs the hinged trigger on the Dagger, probably my only gripe with it. I know most people are going to upgrade it anyway, but I don't understand PSA's decision on that one.
 
I don't love it or hate it anymore than any other glock or glock clone.

I only posted bc it's new.
 
I actually like the way it looks. Realistically a gen 3 Glock 19 clone isn't a bad call for a company that's bread and butter is budget priced ARs. Since it fits a lot of gen 3 parts the upgrade market is already plentiful. Though it will have stiff competition with the dagger at that price point

Personally I won't be buying one. Too invested in canik's for striker fired 9mms. Now if only canik would start making their guns in 45acp.
 
Yeah, saw these and immediately was puzzled. The dagger is getting excellent reviews, looks basically the same, and is cheaper. And you don’t have the added perk of internet gun nerds harping on about “poverty ponies” and “teh poors”.

Definitely a resemblance, aside from all of the “grip zone” action going on with the Stoeger.

However, the “Poverty Pony” is still more than 2x the price compared to PSA’s current deal on the Stoeger Compact.

The sculpting of the trigger guard is different, the area for the front thumb rest/take down latch is different, front strap and back strap are ribbed instead of textured, relief around the thumb area is different and the beavertail is different.
Other than that, yeah, they look the same.
