The gun free communities suffer from a lot of gun violence. These folk should have learned by now we need thug control.
A Brooklyn woman who was grocery shopping with her dog were both shot to death at a bodega on late Sunday evening. The violence appeared to be targeted at someone else in the store.
The NYPD says that the shooting occurred around 9:45 pm at the Salim Smoke Shop on DeKalb Avenue in the Clinton Hill section of Brooklyn, Fox 5 reported.
Graphic footage of the shooting shows the victim and her dog standing at the counter when an obese gunman in a grey jogging suit sprints into the store, opening fire at the victim and her dog.
Police believe that the victim, 36-year-old Jennifer Ynoa, was not the intended target of the shooting. She was hit in the torso and bled out while being transported by paramedics to Brooklyn Hospital.
Ynoa appeared to have been caught between the shooter, a black male, and his intended target, another black man who was in the store at the time.
As seen in the partial footage, Ynoa left a trail of blood exiting the store. Police say the dog died on the sidewalk and covered its body with a plastic trash bag while investigating the shooting.
No arrests have yet been made as of Monday morning.
