Still waiting regarding the specific day that this big meeting we are here for will happen. Could be Wednesday or Thursday. Better not be Friday because that is our current booked return day.
I may tell the boss I can't change my return day due to the death in the family and the fact that my lungs are not clearing.
Huge grants of $10M are being awarded based on these meetings. So the China boss doesn't give a crap about my family or my health.

It happened .Again. effing delayed return. Was supoosed to leave Friday. Now it is just in time for thanksgiving. But that means I will be useless for helping my wife.
Still don't know when the big meeting day is.
Also don't know when the memorial for my brother-in-law. I also found out the husband of one of my SILs is near the end too. And my first step mother past away (She was sick for years: maybe a bit of karma biting back).

The company celebrates the birthday if everyone who has a birthday in that month.
Lucky me. I'm the only employee with a birthday in November.
Chinese cakes are kind of like my wife's.
Much less sweet than a typical American care. I actually like it that way.
Then i swam 5 miles after work.

Each of those cakes cost something over $60. Cakes are very expensive here even by US standards, except maybe by San Fransicko standards.
 
Damn gutzy, it's like you're a UCLA pa,yer under house arrest. At least you'll get home and get the holidays with your family. Hang in there. Sounds like you have as good an attitude as possible. God for you.

Dinner at a Chinese Indian restaurant.
Beef Ribs, Thai chicken, and curry chicken.
Pretty good.
Less than $30, ~180RMB.

I'm in Chongqing today.(Sounds like King Kong backwards) , Western China.
Visiting a customer. A small company few people know of. CHINA MOBILE. [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]

And if you thought US airlines spaced their seats for short people, you have seen cramped until you fly a Chinese domestic airline. Almost got knee capped when the guy in front of me slammed the seat back.

Holy crap. Waiting for a taxi was interesting. Vey busy at 5am in this neighborhood. Lots of 'escorts ' going home after a night's work. Some escorted by a pimp trying to look tough.
This is what happens when the company picks the cheapest hotel in the city.
The hotel want that bad. But the first thing I thought of getting in the elevator was flop house.

At the archery club with some of my Chinese colleagues.
It is amazing the amount of crap some people put on their bows and bodies to shoot.
My elbows don't lock out even to 170 degrees so I've never needed an arm guard. I use a finger tab and a naked bow.

I'm may by an SF Archery riser and carbon limbs next. But it will remain naked too.

Went to a restaurant threat serves eastern Chinese food. It was pretty good.
And next time someone tells you they don't have sweet and sour pork in China, you can they'll they they are wrong.
They do. They just don't call it that.
