Just came across this forum, figured I should join and check it out. I’m currently in Maryland and getting ready to buy some land to build my retirement house. Will be relocating to the Hampstead/Wilmington area. The sooner we can find land, the sooner we can start the process for me to escape the hell hole that is Marylandistan.

I’m sure currently a member of the Maryland Shooters forum. It’s a great community and has provided lots of resources and entertainment. I’m hoping this place is similar.

Appreciate all the welcome comments. I retired from the fire department last summer and took a job as a civilian fire inspector with a neighboring jurisdiction. It was a great opportunity. Going to work my retirement gig until my kids graduate college, 4-5 years or so. Hoping to slowly start the process of buying a piece of land, designing, then having a house built. Would love to find enough land to shoot on, but I don’t know if that’s on the cards in the area we are looking. Looking forward to living somewhere that I can conceal carry unencumbered by unconstitutional laws, but and shoot whatever I want, and just being able to be somewhere that I have more rights than the criminals with guns.
