Wife calls the empty whiskey bottles "Dead Soldiers". Thought it would be fun to post pictures of empty bottles with a rating on how they served.

Damn Cowboy, nothing wrong with your eyes. That is an old RX for medications that was a waste of money. Should have bought a new soldier....it would have worked better.

Yeah, I was wondering about that too. But I have called empty bottles dead soldiers before.

I am low class and so is most of my booze, but I'll post some victims at some point. Probably heading to the mountains this weekend so that usually entails a dead soldier situation.

I had to replace the other one so I got this recruit.

Well actually I spotted the big med cap then noticed the prescription bottle behind it still had the lid. I wonder what Bill Cosby would call this situation? Dead soldier, dead hooker, or Tuesday night.

Probably my fourth or fifth bottle of this Glenfiddich variety that I've polished off since I discovered it a few months ago. Bourbon barrel aged and finished in new oak casks. Gives it a toffee/vanilla flavor that is just awesome. Not incredibly spendy as good Scotches go either. 50ish bucks I believe...

In my younger days I would crack open a bottle and toss the cap out the window and state "we have to drink the whole bottle."

I will admit I was young and dumb. Why the Lord saw fit to save me from myself, we'll discuss that when I see him face to face.

I ask Him that question a lot. In fact, His persistence is probably one of the reasons my kids are still drawing breath.
He sets a good example.

With a bunch of help from some friends over the past couple of weeks this one bite the dust.
