The scales are from Purpleheart.
Those lines in the blades are the reflection of the trees above them.

Those look great. Not everyone can pull off a blade without a plunge line. I'm assuming its a full flat grind?

Knife #2...in the reflection off the blade, is that a dormant hornets nest in the tree (little over halfway toward the tip, right above the edge of the blade).

The grind goes about 1/2" up the blade, the line is just polished out.
