Any high mileage Eco Boost out there?

A couple months ago we bought are 18 yr old daughter at 2018 Ford Foucus as a birthday/ graduation present. It has a 1.0 eco boost.
Just seeing if they are any Hi mileage Eco's out there of any kind.
 
Id check out forums.
FiestaFaction and FocusFaction (?)
Both share the 1.0 ecoboost engine
 
No, it's a 1.6NA motor.
 
I just had to replace the plugs bc it was skipping. I left it alone too long and burnt out the cat. Only issue so far. I bought it used with 80k on the clock.
 
I replace turbos on the 4 bangers regularly. We get one in about every couple of weeks. 70-80k is about when they take a dump.

So let me get this straight. When buying a Ford Eco boost you go in knowing that you will have to sink $2,000 into the engine at about 70,000-80,000 miles. Please explain to me why anyone would buy this then?
 
Just curious here. What part of the turbo (FRU) actually fails? Blades, bearings...
couple of things usually happen with them, the bushings for the wastegate valves will go bad and spit the butterfly valve out which is not a serviceable part and part of the turbo assembly. You will usually start to hear them rattling around at idle. Sometimes pieces of it will contact the blades. We see bearing failure also but mostly its the valves that go bad. It is not quit $2000 to replace them I think the part from Ford is about $1300 plus a couple hours labor to change it. Still sucks though. There are a bunch of lawsuits and recalls for the ecoboost stuff right now. I think there is one for the fuel dampner commi g apart and starting fires.
 
I have a 3.5 eco in my F150 with about 50Kmi so far. No issues and it runs like brand new still.
 
I'm under the impression that adding an oil/air separator to the PCV and breather plumbing is a good idea on Ecoboost motors.

Or a hybrid for that matter. $5K-$8K at 60k miles for a new battery pack.

Also, things like the Prius have a 150k mile warranty, so if it goes out at 60k youre NOT on the hook.
