@Dsking85
I’ve got experience with a Razor and Surge.
The Razor is my personal choice of the two, unless I was suppressing a beast of a caliber like 300WM+. The razor is 6.4” and 15.3oz. The Surge at its shortest/lightest is 17.5oz and 7.5” (21.5oz and 9” with the extra module). That’s a big can. Both have Stellite cores with 17-4 tubes
If I had to add one to the list, the Micro30 is a phenomenal can for the size, and only a tad more than the Razor. If I had a compact 300BLK rifle, this would be in my collection. 6.5”/5” and 15.1oz/11.8oz. Stellite core w/ 17-4 stainless tube.
If you still want to maximize sound reduction and minimize weight with modularity options, the Radiant is awesome. (7.5”/5.1” and 12.5oz/9.4oz). Stellite baffles and Ti tube... it’s a few hundred more than the Razor, about the same $ as Surge
Here’s a cutaway Rugged posted during SHOT:
Surge, Radiant, Micro30, Razor
I was on the range about a month ago with a friend who left the 5.56 cap on his Razor and mounted it on his 300BLK. The aperture size was just large enough to allow the .30 cal bullet to exit without any contact but after checking, that suppressor was as perfectly concentric as I could tell without being able to use tools to measure it. He got stupidly lucky
