Took a peak a few minutes ago. I’ll keep my eye on it for a couple more hours

Yes, normally hit the sack at 2-3AM, I work nights in a data center.

Live stream it if you don't want to go outside to watch.

My wife and son are sitting out in the driveway with a camera and a tripod trying like all get out for 10 pts extra credit on the next Earth Science test. I was never such an over achiever. Not at the temperatures out there tonight. In July, with a beer or two, we can talk about it.

Yeah, we have been running out to check it out. Funny how when you look up it looks about the same but the "light" shining down is less

Just came in after sitting outside for the past 30 minutes trying to take pics with the iPhone through the Kowa spotting scope. Brrrr.

My son springs it on me today that he was going to get extra credit in science class if he got a pic of the eclipse. So we got everything ready earlier this evening and guess what... he craps out on the couch around 11PM.

Good thing I'm a night owl!

Pretty cool, wife just woke me up off the couch to go outside. Man it’s freezing out there tonight.

It was pretty cool to briefly look at occasionally. I can't wait to see Brian Williams broadcast tomorrow and see what it looked like from his perspective up there during the eclipse.

Hate I missed it, and I was on the road too. The moon rise during sunset was really impressive today though. Coming out of Spartanburg I had the sun in my side mirror and the moon in front of me.

I took a quick look around 11 and again just after midnight. No photos since the only serious lenses I own date back to the 1970's .

Saw this and thought it was funny, thought I'd post it in this relevant thread

I got some before and during, but I get vertigo and the looking up was not good! But I did get some bad cell pics, so there you go...Lol.

So my son and his mother were rewarded for freezing the tails off last night. They got a full series of pictures of the eclipse and a really good one below. Not anything I would do, but as long as they are happy.

Please tell them "Thanks for the pictures! Nicely done."

Dang! I guess since I live a semi-permanent state of Condition 1 inside the Gates, I didn't even know about it. Don't laugh...you'll be old one day.
