I know these hit the market with a big splash but like so many things these days reports in the wild have been few and far between. Of course there is lots of good and bad to be found on the interweb so I am wondering has anyone signed up to be a beta tester? Like so many things Sig it looks great on paper.

Multiple reports on Rimfire Central forum.

I found one in Marion of all places. Little high at $425 OTD but hey it's new. The Riton red dot that's on sale fits perfectly.

Started out a little rocky because I figured "how hard is it to load a .22 mag?" and got multiple malfunctions. See, because it's a double stack mag there is a lot of room for rounds to get crossed up or out of line and the results are stove pipes, rounds dipping down in the mags while cycling and for some reason misfires.

I now know that you have to just take the tension off the mag spring enough to slide the next round in. You can't just pull the spring back and drop them in.

I haven't had a single issue since I figured it out and it's as accurate as I am.

Also I was a bit bummed that the profile didn't fit other Sig pistols and would take a proprietary holster but today I found out that it fits perfectly in my S&W M&P holster. All in all I am very pleased.

@wvsig If you wan't to try it out send me a DM.

Thanks for the offer. I have been trying to get a FN 502 but can't find one. Thinking of pivoting to the Sig. I need a 22LR Plinker. I have gone threw a few and none stuck.

I also have a S&W M&P in .22 if you haven't tried that.

I went back and forth between the two before finally deciding in the FN 502. One of the main reasons is that I have a 509 so they could share the same holster. I haven’t shot the p322 but a couple things I didn’t like about handling and looking at it were how cheap the mags felt, I can see that pop on and off interchangeable trigger becoming an issue down the road, and not of big fan of having to thread on an adapter for your threaded barrel.

I went to the fun store with every intention of buying the 322. They also had a 502 and after handling them both, the 502 came home with me. It felt better in my hand and seemed to more substantial. My .02

I have had mine for a few months now. It is a lot of fun to shoot. A few failures here and there but with 22LR shooting bulk ammo it is hard to tell if it is the crappy ammo or the pistol. It is accurate enough to hit 3/4 size IPDA targets all day long at 25 yards and pretty consistent at 75 yards on the same size target. First plinker 22LR in a longtime I have picked up that actually might stick around.

@wvsig - I’m glad you are having good experience with it. I shot a few rounds through one in May at the Sig event in Arizona. Been wanting one since and finally got my hands on one last week. Just haven’t been to the range to try it out. Did you put a sight on it? Haven’t looked into which ones fit best yet.

I am just running the fiber optic sight. I might put a dot on it later.

My plan is to shoot it a while as is then put something on it. I have a swampfox sentinel laying around that I may try to use on it.

I put one of the $99 Riton red dots on mine. Fits perfectly and shoots great. I recommend it.

I recently picked one up and was thinking about this red dot. Going to shoot it a bit more. So far so good. Cant beat the price.
