Anyone know of any Sunday shooting events?

I haven't been competitive shooting for some time because my four kids and their activites eats up Saturdays, and that limits my choices here in the RTP area for USPSA matches. The one time I am free, the only match I'm aware of is waitlisted before it's open. Popular sport.

I'm not wanting to be some super competitor, I just like getting out of the house and shooting at more than a stationary target while standing still. I used to do ambush action at Frontline, but it's been well over a year now since the last match and while I want a long range rifle and would be interested in those events, just not in the cards right now.


Anyone know of anything within 100 miles of RTP that's on Sundays? or maybe early evenings ? I'm not having any luck finding anything,

Practiscore location searches sometimes work funny for me and don't show matches I know exist.

SMD or VIR in the search box on practiscore will get you to the Sunday USPSA, it's a decent match, growing.

Steel challenge has an advantage for a busy life that normally it doesn't eat near as many hours as a USPSA match.

May be too far for you but Ant Hill Range near Bolivia has matches 3 out of 4 Sunday’s a month. Second Sunday is steel challenge, third is USPSA, fourth is IDPA, and if there is a fifth Sunday in a month they have a three gun match.

All matches have a noon start time so no need to leave super early. Always room for more shooters as well.

Not just IDPA, some sort of match nearly every Sunday and Saturday. Much less than 100 miles from RTP.
