Anyone out there still rocking ACR's?

Does the ACR still have potential?

Is anybody still reppin the ACR? (Here is mine in some compromising positions wearing a couple different ACOGs and a holosun ls321 IR unit) If so, does anyone here have connections to bush hamster/Franklin armory that knows anything about the future of this amazing rifle that can offer insight on whether the old ones will ever be supported in their new deal?
Also, the new KRG fox-42 take on the Magpul massoud (ACR in 308) is tits, am I right?
I finally got this rifle after wanting one for the longest AND it was one of the first 500 ever made! So far it has out performed any ar I own in accuracy out to 400yds, even w a 1:9 barrel. These rifles don't deserve the smear campaign. I just hope Franklin armory will properly usher them into the future.

So post em if you got em!

Acr is cool. Just never took off like they planned. I’d like to have one.

Always enjoyed my ACRs, sold my last one a couple of years ago trying to fund another project. They are great rifles ahead of their time, only wish they would have had more support at the time. One thing I loved about the two I had was I never had a single mag fitment issue and now I have a junk box of test mags that functioned and worked perfectly in my Windham and Ilion ACRs.

I'd still like one. Probably the only 5.56 thing out there that would pull me back into poodle shooter ownership.

These were such a cool forward thinking concept. Actually, back when the Masada came out it was the first time that I heard about Magpul. As a newly married man with little kids I could only dream of owning one. The sales ads I saw on the web were for the 7.62x39. I never got one. Now, with the advent of the CMMG and the Palmetto hybrids that take reliable ak mags, if I was getting into the modern rifle camp in the caliber of 7.62x39 the PK47 with a Gibbz G47 upper would be the way I would do it. What a great collector for sure.

the only reason i would tell you to buy one if you have the opportunity, even if you have to finance it, is that they seem to hold their value really well if you ever try to sell it, despite the smear campaign against them, and that being said dont listen to any haters because it will be one of the most awesome rifles you ever buy. At 400 yds this thing shoots GROUPS, and I mean tight butthole groups, average 3.5 to 4.3 inches when shot off a bipod or a rest. And you will be part of a cult of weirdos that still like this rifle and no one can take that away from EVER.

I always thought it was like an AR and a SCAR and a FN had a drunken orgy and this was the child they produced. Not that I do not like it, cause I do. It was always in my 'someday if I have the money and one happens to be available' list.

Always liked them, but they and their accessories were just too pricey for my blood.
