Getting ready to spin a barrel up and cut it for 6GT. Anyone else round these parts play with the Gay Tiger?

Tuebor Action
Bartlien Barrel
Alpha Brass
Berger slugs
Varget / 4350 / StaBall

Was planning to run it for PRS type shooting. Seems to have pros nad cons over the 6 Dasher but respectively holds its own out at distance.

Anyone else in CFF family tinker with 6GT?

Fine, I'll tinker with it a bit.
This particular .200" group are shots 13, 14, and 15 out of a fresh 28" Proof Comp profile barrel.
33.6g Varget
CCI 41 Primer
Virgin Alpha OCD Brass
Berger 105 Hybrid seated ~0.030 off the lands.
2910 FPS with a 5 SD
I shot 7 groups for load dev today, and nothing punched larger than .550" or higher than an 8 SD

Looks like a shooter! I almost went gt instead of dasher but didn’t. Keep us posted on how it goes.

Mebby no one knows whatcha talking about. I don't. 6 gay tigers? Reloading? Shooting 6 gay tigers. Is 6gt a Gunpowder? Mebby reask yer question in english?

Another buddy just built a dasher before me, so the punches are flowing to and from pretty regularly. :)
His shoots impressively well too.

What is the 6mm GT:

The 6mm GT was birthed from a collaboration between George Gardner (owner GA Precision) and Tom Jacobs (owner Vapor Trail Bullets). Designed with competition shooting in mind—Light recoil, excellent velocity, exceptional consistency both downrange and through the chronograph.

Why the 6mm GT:

Easy: No magazine inserts or modifications required to feed from AICS magazines.
Feeds great: Using a 35 degree shoulder angle, the cartridge wont hang in the chamber on the shoulder.
Efficient Case Design: Optimized case nearing 100% capacity with 34-35.5 grains of Varget.
Velocity: 3020-3080 fps with 103-105 grain bullets and approx 3000 fps with 115's.
 
I debated going 6GT but I kind of want to build an ARC after seeing a friend’s 24” Bartlein gasser

I have no 6mm projectiles (.223 and .308 fudd life) and no annealing setup and I’m on my last 4lbs of Varget with none to be had....so to get into 6mm I’ve got some costs ahead of me on top of the build itself
 
I think she's settled down now with 250ish rounds down the chute.
Pretty happy with it. Still shooting through virgin brass as well.
