Was in the local Cabela's a couple of weeks ago and say some of the "Zastava" shotguns for sale (like Classic has listed currently). The Zastava's looked kind of rough, however there were some Russian made Tula's that looked pretty decent. Other than the fixed full and mod chokes being kinda tight for a double, they looked pretty decent. I thought about picking one up. Anyone here had any experience with them? Are they standard (2 3/4") chambers or short? Looks like they came from Century Arms and have been their for awhile.

You didn't mention barrel length, trigger type, selector etc. but the mod/full choke isn't bad at all for hunting birds. If you wanted to change that, a competent gunsmith can modify the choke constriction to something else or you can have Briley install thin wall screw in chokes.

If it looks well made, and fits good, I'd mainly be concerned about service and parts. I had a rather expensive Poli S/S and a part broke. The warranty service was only available in Italy so I asked Cole Gun to make the part which they did. The price of the gun and service don't always match. You can always go to Cabels"s and measure the chamber, probably 2 3/4".
