Anyone take a class with SpecTrain NC?

They run courses at a range these days about 30 minutes from me. I was thinking about a basic carbine class they offer but am looking for reviews feedback from anyone who has actually trained with them. I know @Chdamn audit one of their classes a while but looking for other thoughts. They are not very active on here expect to post their schedule every now and then.

Cool. I believe Chris is their lead instructor.

Solid group for sure. Chris, their lead instructor, is a former Marine and was a local SWAT team member in CLT for a few years. Billy Barton (of P3 Tactical), another of their instructors, is a Master class competitor with an outstanding skill set. If you get the chance to get in on a class with them, jump on it!

I attended a pistol course with them about 1.5 years ago. Great instructors, very patient and encouraging. I will be going back.

Going to kind of bump this back up. I was considering taking their "core pistol" class. Was wondering of there was any more recent feedback. Can find almost nothing review wise. Was going to do the Apex Defense pistol class in July but it filled up so considering Spectrain instead. They are definitely more expensive and it looks like you will shoot nearly twice as many rounds as in the Apex class. They post a lot on their IG but it's a bunch of"Gucci Glocks" and Vertx bags. Anyone been there lately?

SpecTrain are good people! Great instructors! Of course we would love to have you in class as well, we have a few openings left in our Sept Defensive Handgun 1 class we just posted today!
