Anyone have one? My wife is pretty keen on it, and I don't have any "fun" and/or impractical guns. Wouldn't mind sporting one of these with a 1911 someday.

Stupid or cool? Reliable?

I do, but haven't had it out in years. It is fun, not all that accurate, but reliable.
And weighs about 17lbs with the loaded drum.
"fun" and/or impractical guns. It does fit that criteria. :)

I sold one on here a couple months back..
Yes, deffinatly FUN , will put a grin on your face and everyone at the range as well.

They are more of a point and shoot type of weapon, they do not shoulder well. They are quite fun though and with .45 ammo getting cheap again might as well.

I have a 1928A1, and it is a hoot to shoot. Yes, it's heavy with a drum but it's manageable. Quite a few CFF members have shot it at the DPRC and Woody's charity shoots the past few years.

Mine was fairly accurate in the past; I could hit a 100 yard gong about half the time shooting from the shoulder. Now it's time for a new barrel which should restore the accuracy.

Sweeeeet.

Better start stocking some 45. May even have to get a lever 45 to match up with the 1911. Have my wife run passenger with the Tommy Gun.

Having already been through the Form-1 process with my 10" .300BLK AR, I'm tempted to get one just to SBR it.

Thats the best thing I ever got to shoot. Period.

I shot one full auto at the range recently, first time with either full auto or a Tommy gun. As long as you don't think about all the dollar bills squirting out the barrel, it is a HOOT. Think I went through 150 rounds, though they only had stick mags. And, yes, it is HEAVY. Think of the troops lugging one of those things all over Europe, plus the ammo to go with it...

You must not have shot his MP5SD then !!!!!!!!!

THAT is the neatest gun I have shot. With the Chopper being a close second!
Pretty sure I did. In my mind I was smoking a cigar saying “Say ello to my whittle friend”
