Not for me, but "for a friend". @DirtySCREW @dave33

I'm looking on line at the sheriff's webpage and all I'm seeing is address, phone number and time that office is open 9-3 Mon - Thurs. with a little info but not a lot.

Do they work on appointments to apply for a CHP? Do they do fingerprints at the same location? Or just walk in with your $90 and your certificate from your CCW class?

Edit: Nevermind. I found what I need I think.

Back when I got my CHP many years ago they didn't do appointments, first come first served, but hours and days were limited. They did fingerprints right there on one of those optical scanner things which was nice. That was when they were in the basement of the sheriffs office, they are now on the first floor of the building beside the courthouse I think, or at least they were the last time I did my renewal.

If you didn't find what you need let me know, I will try to help.

Thanks Dave, I found a link that has the online application and it says they require an appointment now.
