"AR 10/22"

The only thing that puts me off a little is this: "Uses standard 10/22 10-round rotary magazines." Does that mean that it won't take any of the larger mags, only the flush ones? That'd be a negative worth considering, afaic.

I don't have that exact body for my 10/22, but I'd venture to say that if it accepts the stock 10-round mag, it would accept any large mag. While the larger mags don't store the rounds in a rotary fashion like the 10-round mag, the spring system is a "rotary" tape spring, like a tape measure. Not sure why these folks would drop in the word "rotary" in the description when "stock 10/22 mags" would work just as fine and eliminate this confusion.

I have the Troy TR-22 body kit for my 10/22 and it takes regular 10/22 mags.

If it takes the flush mag, it should take any 1022 mag

It will take any 10/22 magazine.

It's just a chassis that the 10/22 reciever and barrel sit in. I have a couple.

Personally I don't see the point of an AR-alike that doesn't follow the AR manual of arms. Esp with M&P15-22s being $299

This is where I've migrated to. My Troy setup is cool, but it doesn't mimic an AR 100%. I've recently become a believer in the 15-22 which is damn near a clone of an AR.

The M1 looks pretty cool, but I agree with ^that^.

I have the ZK-22 from Aklys Defense, the base rifle has a factory threaded barrel, I run it with my Sparrow from Silencerco.

My 10/22 is in a ATI folding stock.

The mag well seems to be important. It won’t hold the larger mags. But they are fine in the factory wood stock. The ATI required a bit smithing to have the rear sight clear.
