I noticed that I failed to order a grip screw for my AR build. Thought it was in the LPK, but nope.
I think it's 1/4 x 28 thread...not sure if the length matters...1 inch or 3/4 inch make a difference?

call whoever you ordered the lpk from. if they had a grip in there, it should have come wit a bolt/screw and a star lock washer.
sounds like their picker made an oopsie.

My oopsie. I ordered a LPK less grip, grip screw, and trigger. I assumed the grip came with a screw and assumed it was in the LPK as well...and my assumptions were both incorrect. Rookie mistake that's on me.

Sometimes the screw is inside the grip, if it has a compartment. And if it’s in a little baggie, you might not hear it rattling around.

Maybe not...but always a possibility.

Take yerself down to the local hardware store and buy you some cap socket hex head screws. Easier to tighten in the pistol grip and easier to start. After my first build every other one was like this.

+1 but let me emphasize, HARDWARE STORE, not Lowe’s/THD they likely won’t have it, at least mine didn’t.

IIRC, I ordered a few oddball socket head screws from Home Depot’s website and they shipped free to store.

I think I have one, along with a Tango Down Battle grip, that you're welcome to if you pay to ship it. I'll check for sure when I get home.

let's put a pin in this. I made it work after a trip to the store, but I have another build coming up and a good deal is a good deal.

at lowes did you look in the drawers ? they probably have that if not try Fastenal
Yup, I’ve spent way too much time in the hardware aisle at Lowe’s. My wife can attest to it lol. Fastenal’s hours suck for those who work m-f 8-5, so I’ve never been there despite trying a few times.
My local TV and Ace have a great hardware selection.

Go with 3/4 long
Also get some 3/8 long set screws. Loctite the setscrew in to eliminate the bulk of the creep

Heh, "creep" doesn't exist in my build. POF 4.5# trigger. If I knew how to post video I'd show you. But thanks for the tip!
